Clay Shooting Trap Machine & Base

Who could resist the chance to help build a clay shooting trap machine? We at TechniFab of Virgina sure could not! When a British client came to us with various furnished parts to be incorporated into their final product, we were more than pleased to design, program, and manufacture a fabricated base to help with the clay-shooter's assembly. The focus of our assignment was to make sure the platform would be sturdy enough to withstand thrust, mobility, and facilitate machine accuracy.

We used an AMADA F0-3015 TH 2000 W laser that we had programmed in-house per CAD blueprint to cut 11GA mild steel to the right specifications. We promptly used an AMADA Promecam HFB1003 to bend the steel metal properly. The TIG-welded and ground base received a powder coated finish. We completed a 37-lb. base with overall dimensions of 20" x 24" x 8" and tightest tolerances of +/- .030".
